Here's a recipe for the best strong coffee in the world! I do not follow the directions on the coffee package because it turns out insipid. Here's how to really make the richest coffee to wake up with:
Here's what you'll need:
| ® 1 part coffee, ground (not instant) |
| ® 5 to 6 parts water |
| ® a pot to boil the water (not a kettle - you'll see why) |
| ® one of those cone-shaped filter holders |
| ® one of those cone-shaped paper filters |
| ® coffee mug(s) |
| ® coffee pot for serving (optional) |
Here's the directions:
| Step 1: | ® Put the water in the pot and bring it to a boil. |
| Step 2 | ® When the water is boiling, take it off the stove, and immediately stir the coffee right into it. |
| ® Stir it in enough to make sure all the coffee grounds are well wetted. | |
| Step 3 | ® Pour the water/coffee mix through the filter and cone, into the coffee pot or mugs |
| ® Add sugar and/or milk to taste.You'll need more than usual. This is strong! |
Remember though, it's hot, so be careful. Don't sip it until it's cooled down enough that you don't burn yourself. Also note that coffee is addictive. If you drink this amount every day you will become addicted.
