Free Skyboxes
These new ones
come in sizes 256, 512, and 1024 (x 6 frames each). In order to
save on server space, you must email me for them.
When
you email me, include the following:
Skybox somewhere in the subject line.
Name of the skybox you want (eg ab004).
Size of the skybox, 256, 512 or 1024.

I will only send
the skyboxes to the email address you use to email me. No third
party addresses. This is to prevent people signing up other
people for a big download as a prank. Also, one skybox per
request. If you want 2 skyboxes, send me 2 separate emails. I
send the jpgs saved at the highest quality (and file size),
leaving all reductions (if any) up to you.
Each skybox
colour scheme comes with optional matching tiles that can be
useful as the default tiling ground texture if you use the
skyboxes in ActiveWorlds. The tiles can be found at the bottom of
each colour scheme's page and can be downloaded from there. They
are in no particular order and can be mixed and matched with any
skybox in that colour scheme. They are 256 in size, reduced a bit
for file size, and displayed tiled. If you want a larger matching
tile, email me and I'll try and come up with something for you.
Because of the
optional use of a separate sun and moving clouds in Activeworlds,
there are 2 versions of each colour scheme, one with clouds and
sun, and one without them. The 2 versions of colour scheme 'an'
did not render identically in their landscape for some reason
that I can't figure out.
