Description:

Size/Shape 9 to 12 inches high. Grows to 18 inches. Good massed by themselves. Grows 24-36 inches tall.
Leaves Entire to ternately lobed.
Flowers Unimpressive yellow flowers. Yellow-green, green or white. The fringed small white flowers are carried in dense spikes. Generally, the smaller flowered sorts are more fragrant than the giant forms.
Blooming Season June to October. June to the start of winter.
Fragrance Legendary sweet ambrosial scent. Sweet fragrance. An intense spicy fragrance. A wonderful spicy sweet fragrance. Foliage is aromatic. The luxury of the pleasure-garden is greatly heightened by the delightful odor which this plant diffuses. Its perfume is not apt to offend on continuance the most delicate olfactories. Generally, the smaller flowered sorts are more fragrant than the giant forms.


Growing Info:

Propagation Seeds. Does not like being transplanted. Sowing seeds several times during the season will prolong the blooming period.
Soil Neutral to alkaline. Rich soil. On light soils the fragrance is said to be stronger than on heavy soils.
Water It requires moist soil. Regular water.
Food Feeding when in bud is beneficial.
