Large serrate, widely oval, tropical leaves that are reddish and fuzzy underneath. Leaves can grow to 1' across.
Flowers Clusters of bloom. Large rose-pink flowers. Behind the pink flowers are deeper pink buds, and it's this combination of colours that look really terrific. Ample-sized clusters of loosely arranged rose-red florets float overhead.
Blooming Season Flowers most of the year. Spring, summer and fall. Aug to Sept. August–mid-October. All summer and into fall.
