3dAnarchy was the best 3d chat-and-build program I ever found. It got bought up by Adobe and had it's name changed to Atmosphere. It had the best lighting of any 3d-chat & build program I've ever tried. Unfortunately Adobe discontinued the program. Here's pictures of some of the worlds I made.
Ponds - I used a lot of 2d facer objects here which I made from pics found on the web.

Invisible Walls Maze

Animated Mosaic/Quilts - These were animated psychedelic patterns on a big screen in the world.

A House

Pot Smoking Lounge - There was no censorship of world content.
Some nice hash
brownies and some cold drinks. Ahhh.
On the coffee tables
there are joints, weed, etc.
High, come on in.
The bong show.
Strong Coffee
Strange topiary.
My recipe for very
strong coffee.
A giant mug of
coffee sits near a palm.
Lots of coffee for
everyone.
River Ride - This was a 3d ride on a riverboat.

The ride takes you
through a cave.

Mazes
The first maze is
done in rainbow colours. Walk into portals at the end of each
maze to get to the next level.
Be careful on the
second maze. If you fall into the water it's game over.
Maze 3's portal is
extra hard to find.
Finishing all 3 mazes
brings you to a 'watcher's' level. You can see other people in
the mazes on the checkerboard, but they can't see you. They just
see the maze they're in.
Optical Illusions
Clickable boxes give
explanations of the illusions.
If you stare at the
spinning spiral, then look at the wallpaper, it will seem to move.
Illusions are grouped
by category in different rooms.
